When making a belt, the aesthetic protocol is taken into account with a number of 5 holes to adapt and ensure a correct fit.

To measure, use a flexible tape measure and wrap it around your waist where you would like to wear the belt.

Make sure the tape measure is snug but not too tight and record your waist measurement in centimeters.
